I'm a design researcher, product strategist and ex-founder based in The Netherlands. Currently I work as a Senior UX Researcher at ING with a focus on wholesale banking new ventures.

 

In the past 6 years, I gained product discovery and validation experience in various industries: banking, Internet-of-Things, e-learning and mental health. I also explored my path to entrepreneurship in 2020 by founding 'Alaia Health', an analytics platform for organizations and employees to tackle burnout at an early stage.

 

With my background in UX, entrepreneurship and business, I currently help organizations discover and assess new opportunities via the Lean Startup approach, and support product teams with user insights at every step of the product cycle.

Asking good questions is one of my strongest skills, reflecting my strong critical thinking skills and my curiosity in understanding human behaviors to uncover the unmet needs.

 

Originally from China, I came to the Netherlands to pursue further study in 2014. Currently I hold a master degree in Human-Technology Interaction from Eindhoven University of Technology, and a bachelor degree in Management Information System from Harbin Institute of Technology.

 

My work has an international focus: I have conducted remote user research focusing on users from US, Europe, Middle East and South East Asia. I also have experience facilitating design workshops with a global distributed team.
